Blog Tour Review: A Crown in Time by Jennifer Macaire

A Crown in Time cover

For the most part I really enjoyed A Crown in Time – there were Outlander (Diana Gabaldon) & Caityn (Elizabeth Davies) vibes throughout the story, & I was incredibly curious about where the story would go. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed by the ending, but I still appreciated Macaire’s writing.

Blog Tour Review: Victory Day by Rachel Churcher

Victory Day

Alas, this wonderful series has come to a close & I am definitely sad about it; nevertheless, Victory Day was a fantastic end to an exciting & engaging series that followed me through the whole of 2019. Rachel Churcher did a bloody good job.

Blog Tour Review: Jupiter’s Fire by William Osborne

Jupiter's Fire.jpeg

I went into Jupiter’s Fire with mixed expectations; the synopsis convinced me to give the story a try, but I’m one of those annoying readers who always judges a book by it’s cover – & I didn’t like this cover. I really enjoyed the story though, so I guess I need to stop being so judgemental of aesthetics, lol.

Fighting Back

Fighting Back is the penultimate book in the Battle Ground series & the second half has got me very excited for the finale – I have no idea how this series will end, or what’s coming next, but what I do know is that this series has had me hooked & I’ll miss it when it’s over.

Blog Tour Audiobook Review: Visions of Zarua by Suzanne Rogerson (Narrated by Guy Barnes)

Visions of Zarua audiobook cover.jpegVisions of Zarua was an odd listening experience for me – it’s the first audiobook I’ve ever been sent to review so I was determined to listen to it all, however it did take me a while to get into properly. This is a very long book to listen to but in the end, it’s well worth it.

Blog Tour Review: Darkest Hour by Rachel Churcher

Darkest Hour

This series just gets better with every instalment – I can’t believe there’s only two more in the series!! The Battle Ground series is impossible not to get hooked on & it’s scary how possible it is that life in the UK could really go this way. Moving to Scotland is definitely on my to-do list.
