Flynn Nightsider & the Edge of Evil by Mary Fan

Book CoverYet another fantasy world created within the mind of Mary Fan, & what a fantasy world it is! The Edge of Evil progresses mostly at a steady pace, but as you delve further into the world, & the book, the stakes gradually increase & by the end I was completely hooked. If you’ve not dived into one of Mary’s books yet, you absolutely must – she’s one of the best writers in YA fantasy right now (& my favourite author).

Windborn by Mary Fan

Cover of Windborn
It shouldn’t be news to any long-time followers that Mary Fan is my favourite author, & once again she has written something that I love. I’m so excited that Windborn is a start of a new series, because it will help heal my heart now that the Starswept series has concluded. I really liked this steady opening to what feels like a powerful series & I cannot wait for more!

I was sent this book by the author in return for an honest review.

Blog Tour Review: Stronger Than A Bronze Dragon by Mary Fan

Stronger Than A Bronze Dragon.jpeg

Before reading this I was a big fan of Mary Fan, but after finishing Stronger Than A Bronze Dragon she is now my favourite author. This incredible adventure was full of action, had so many layers to the story & had brilliant characters. I have no idea how I’m going to write this review…

I was sent this book by the author in return for an honest review. I was also invited to take part in the blog tour.

Wayward Stars by Mary Fan

Wayward Stars

This review should have gone upย agesย ago but my brain got sad so I’m really behind on reviews,ย again. Nevertheless, Wayward Stars was a book that I was very much excited about as I loved it’s prequel, & it didn’t let me down at all. Mary Fan is turning out to be one of my favourite authors, alongside Laura Lam & Zoe Marriott!

I was sent this book by the author in return for an honest review.

Favourite Reads of 2017

Best Reads of 2017
It seems only logical that one of my first posts of 2018 is one that gives a shout-out to all of my favourite reads of 2017; when I first decided I was going to do this post I thought I would only include 10 books, but as it turns out there are 20 books that I justย haveย to put on this list. Despite probably being able to comfortably say which books are my top 3 reads of the year, I’ve decided to list the books in order of author names just so I don’t get stressed out trying to decide where each would go on a chronological list of enjoyment.

Cover Reveal!

Edge of EvilToday I am crazy excited because I’m doing a cover reveal for one of my favourite people of the moment! Mary Fan released Starswept earlier this year, a book that is in my top reads of the year, & on May 15th next year she’ll be releasing the first book in another series; Flynn Nightsider & The Edge of Evil (which will be published by Crazy 8 Press)!

I absolutely love this cover, which was designed by Streetlight Graphics, because there’s a woman of colour on the cover, & it obviously sets the atmosphere for what I’m sure is going to be an incredible dark fantasy.

Keep reading for the book’s synopsis & the links for GoodReads & two prequels!

StarsweptI am so, so excited that this beautiful book has finally been released into the world! I loved this book so much & I’m really looking forward to seeing others enjoy it too. The book includes soppy romance, fast-paced science fiction & characters that you can’t help but love. Mary Fan, the author, is also really, really lovely & she deserves this book to be a success.
