Yes, I’ve stolen yet another tag from DarqueDreamerReads – you can find her responses to this tag here.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed yet but Tuesday is now Tag Tuesday… I’m going to try & keep this up as much as I can but I haven’t yet created a header for “Tag Tuesday” – do you think I should? Lemme know. Anyway! I first saw this week’s tag on DarqueDreamerReads (who, by the way, has such a beautiful blog) & it was created by Shona Louise.
I saw this tag originally over at berries&books & although it’s a very long tag I thought I would join in with it!
01. What Fictional Character Has The Best Style?
Blue Sargent from The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater makes her own clothes so it’s got to be her.
02. Your Book Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Fictional Crush?
I saw this tag last month on Deanna’s blog (deereadsthings) & as it’s quite different from the other tags I’ve done on here so far I thought I’d give it a go too! In this tag you answer nineteen questions based on the books you have on your shelves & then tag three people to take part after you.
I was nominated to take part in this tag by sincerelykarenjo! The ‘Mystery Blogger’ award, originally created by Okoto Enigma, is named after the meaning of this award’s creator’s name. In his words, ‘there are so many blogs that are still a mystery to us; when we get to know them, it’s divine and we find friends where we least expect’ [taken from sincerelykarenjo]. In order to take part in this award you must do the following things: Continue reading
I saw this tag over on sincerelykarenjo & as one of my goals for 2018 is to take part in more tags I thought I would join in! For this tag all you have to do is choose between two options – it’s really quite simple.
1. Audiobook OR Text Book?
Definitely text book… I do listen to audiobooks, but only ones that I’ve already read; this is because I sometimes find it hard to follow the story when it’s an audiobook, so if I already know what happens it’s not an issue.
I would like to start this post with a huge shout out to ReadingWithJessica for giving me the idea to take part in this reading challenge for 2018 – go & check her blog out!
Generally, I don’t take part in reading challenges, apart from my GoodReads yearly reading goal, but as I own a lot of books (361 to be exact) that I haven’t yet read, this challenge is definitely something I want to give a try!
Jessica has set herself 12 books to read next year, one for each month, & I was initially going to do this as well, but then I realised that I wanted to include books from my shelves & from my kindle… so, instead I have picked 10 books from my shelves & 10 from my kindle; this means I have 20 books to read in 12 months which I know is something that I can achieve – I decided not to have 2 set for every month (1 from my shelves & 1 from my kindle) as I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself.
Keep reading to find out what they are!
I’ve previously read Deanna’s posts on what books she would buy if she could go to the bookstore right in that moment & I loved the idea of doing a post like it! Deanna has actually done 3 posts on this “tag” so I might follow her & do this post every now & again, when my list of books changes! You can find Deanna’s first post here, her second here & her third here. All of the books listed below are on my birthday wishlist, so by the time this is posted I may (hopefully) own some of them.
