Most of you should know by now that I love a circus book, so Emma Carroll’s The Girl Who Walked on Air just had to be one of my Beat The Backlist targets – unsurprisingly I absolutely adored this book & loved being back within a circus environment. Also – that cover!
I would like to start this post with a huge shout out to ReadingWithJessica for giving me the idea to take part in this reading challenge for 2018 – go & check her blog out!
Generally, I don’t take part in reading challenges, apart from my GoodReads yearly reading goal, but as I own a lot of books (361 to be exact) that I haven’t yet read, this challenge is definitely something I want to give a try!
Jessica has set herself 12 books to read next year, one for each month, & I was initially going to do this as well, but then I realised that I wanted to include books from my shelves & from my kindle… so, instead I have picked 10 books from my shelves & 10 from my kindle; this means I have 20 books to read in 12 months which I know is something that I can achieve – I decided not to have 2 set for every month (1 from my shelves & 1 from my kindle) as I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself.
Keep reading to find out what they are!
