Throwback Thursday

Shadow Warrior by Tanya Lloyd Kyi (Illustrated by Celia Krampien)

Shadow WarriorThis gorgeous little story will be wonderful for young girls who are in need of female role models! Chiyome sounds like she was a really strong & incredible woman, & I really want to know more about her; the end of the book mentions some comic books that Chiyome features in so I may have to get my hands on some.

The illustrations in the book were absolutely beautiful; I would love to have some of them as posters on my bedroom walls. The pictures added to the story really well & I found myself staring at them; trying to take in all the details.

I was sent an eARC of Shadow Warrior in return for an honest review, but I really want to Add to goodreadsget a copy of it when it’s released because it is honestly so pretty!
