In Order To Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom by Yeonmi Park

In Order to LiveThis time round I was able to “enjoy” this book in a different way; instead of feeling shocked by what I was reading, I spent the whole time admiring Yeonmi, Eunmi & Keum Sook Byeon. I know Park Jin Sik is looking down on them with so much pride. Learning about Yeonmi has changed me as a person, and I am now determined to help the people in North Korea – and that determination is even stronger after my second read. I know I’ll read this book over and over again for the rest of my life. Yeonmi has changed me and inspired me. I love her with all of my heart.
